For those of you who are not subscribed to suggested books, The Perfect Store - a book about how eBay got started and grew - is the newest addition to the list. I actually read the book about a year ago... here is the post:

The Perfect Store

While it's not a very challenging read, it gives great insight into what enabled eBay to become what it is today. In my opinion, individuals starting p2p internet startups should pick up this book as it highlights the importance of community, what creates it and how they can help a startup survive.
